Always Summer (Кайт-Лето in Russian) is a school that follows the wind along Vietnam's coast. That is why we always have a base in season — and summer never ends.
Who we are
Always Summer has been teaching kitesurfing in Vietnam since 2013. We teach complete beginners and help riders progress — from first kite launches on the beach to jumps and hydrofoiling.
Besides courses, we run group downwind safaris, sunset sessions, freestyle camps and photo & video coaching.
Head instructor
Alexander Kovalenko is the school's head instructor: an IKO Level 3 instructor with more than 1,000 hours of teaching. He is responsible for the course programme and for making every session safe and useful. Photos and videos from lessons are on his Instagram.
How we teach
- A personal instructor for the whole course. Lessons in English or Russian.
- All equipment included: kite, board, harness, helmet and impact vest.
- 2-hour sessions, one a day, starting in the morning when the wind is softer.
- An IKO certificate after the course, valid at schools worldwide.
Prices and formats are in our guide “How much does it cost to learn kitesurfing”.
Where the lessons take place
- Mui Ne — November to March. Here we are based at our friends' kite station, C2Sky Kite Center.
- Phan Rang — November to April, flat lagoon water.
- Nha Trang — May to September, a soft thermal wind.
